Residuals accrue
things still sell
amid the flurry of data bits
idea vampires
accounting schemes
the rip off continues each day
money makes money make money
take what tou can grab and climb
listening to mp3's
I could never afford in total
would I be denied the ability to hear
until I worked enough to pay
the great machine's fee
I will listen
one day buy
today someone else buys
and I would be paid my fee
on the things that do sell
perhaps one day I
can buy
some albums
