Shoes in the water - No Foul Play - but something smells...

So
another foot in a shoe in the Georgia Strait
That's 7 feet.
and apparently none are pairs.

The RCMP in the Metro say
We don't suspect foul play...

????

someone is tying people they've killed to rocks,
dumping them off a boat
the body rots or is fish eaten
and the foot separates from the leg..

the body dissolves or is gobbled
and the foot
with it's nice floating "air sole"
washes up...

No foul play?
Oh wait....
Now I remember, from long ago
24 sex trade workers have disappeared from the DTES
We have no reason to suspect foul play....

I wondered why Amanda Tapping would be laughing at me, there I was standing in the xmas party line to get a beer, and someone I didn't know, who shouldn't have any reason to even notice me, was laughing, gesturing and whispering in R. Cooper's ear. I didn't have anything stuck to my back, I know I looked fine. Then it struck me. She knew the whole story. It was just a great joke to her, all this money being spent, and me, the originator of much of these ideas, with nothing.
I looked all around me at the party then, and I began to see, all the low paid people, the lowly crew, all of them were struggling, they all had serious life problems, their lives were being sucked away by these rich energy vampires...who were laughing...
