So there's been a lot of discussion about violence against queer people in vancouver
because that guy got out after only four years for beating and killing a gay man in the West End.

It's just the beginning, you know.
They want it all cleared out for the Olympics.
Don't want those rich Europeans seeing a bunch of fags and dykes and worse while they're tripping down to Stanley Park.

That pesky charter of rights thing made it difficult, they had to make some politically correct "anti hate" laws that really never get enforced. A couple slaps on the wrist here and there.
Usually they don't even bother with an investigation. Nobody's looked at any of the shit that's happened to me in the last year, no one is really gonna investigate any "hate crimes", that's just media bullshit to make it LOOK like the government cares.

Just like women and domestic violence for the past 50 years.
It's only because a shitload of high profile murders and rapes of partners and spouses happened that anything gets done, and that's only because they HAVE to.
Really, if you look at it, police are one of the highest demographics for wife beatings.

The fact is, the violent rednecks come in from the suburbs to target queers every day and twice as much on the weekend. Nobody's gonna stop them from harassing queers, certainly not a police force that's made up of 20%+ fag haters. They'll actually choke down a chuckle and then outright laugh once they get to the coffee shop. If they don't piss themselves laughing the moment they're in the cop car.

Seriously, if we gave every cop in the lower mainland an advanced psych test meant to identify homophobic or racist tendencies and then gave those that failed the axe immediately-

We'd lose AT LEAST 20% of the police forces.
Guaranteed. Probably more like 40% but I'm trying to be mellow about this bullshit.

So when they bring their pit bulls down and start shouting at the west end flamers
no one's gonna stop them, because that's the only way they can cleanse the area
And believe me, that's what the christian right wants to do here

Prohibition killed the Mayerthorpe 4!

So yeah,
all over the news
over and over.
Sure, 5 people are dead. It's sad. It's terrible.
It's not "more sad" because 4 were cops.

So let's chop this fucking sacred cow to bits right now.

Why are 4 cops and one pot grower dead?
Because of prohibition.
NOT because the pot grower was an evil person, NOT because he was "overly violent".

Everybody there died because of PROHIBITION.

The cops were there to take the land, money and property of the person who was growing some plants.
The plants he was growing are similiar to the hops we use to make beer.
By all accounts of serious professors and books on the subject, the plants that he was growing do less damage to people than beer does.

However, the christian prohibitionist government is waging a war on people that think differently than they do, and one of the tools of suppression that they are using is the extended criminalization of this relatively benign plant that many people use for spiritual purposes, pain relief, or mild recreation.

And one of the DRACONIAN laws they have institutionalized over the past 2 decades of this systematic suppression of people that think differently than them, is the laws that make police departments able to seize all assets of persons involved in watering and fertilizing and giving light to FUCKING GODDAMNED PLANTS that happen to be on their christian no-no list.

That's why the grower went "nuts" and killed everyone there and then himself.
He was about to lose everything.
Every Mayerthorpe cop involved was laughing and chuckling.
They were going to auction off all his trucks and shit, sell his house
and use the money for a police barbecue to celebrate the renovations on their cop shop and some brand new fucking tasers.

So this guy snapped. Not because he hated cops.
He snapped because everything he owned was about to be STOLEN from him through a corrupt scheme that makes it PROFITABLE for police to enforce certain laws, and so they'll ignore others.

I wonder how many rapes go uninvestigated or insufficiently investigated in Mayerthorpe.
Bet quite a few kids have been diddled there over the years and no one got dinged for it.
Bet a few fags got beat to death or close to it, bet some indian girls (I think they call them "chugs" in small racist places like Mayerthorpe, Alberta) get raped and beat every year there.

So that's what happened.
The cops were in the middle of STEALING this guy's property.
His house, truck, land, bank accounts, EVERYTHING.
NOT because he was a murderer, or rapist, or thief.
HE WAS NONE OF THOSE.
Because he was growing some plants that the christians think are evil.

Fucking get it straight.
Everyone died because they wanted to steal the gardener's land and livelihood.
