Robert C. Cooper would be in jail right now if we actually had portable lie detection for investigations, just question 10 VFX/Post employees of SGA for 10 minutes each and compare,
suddenly the unimaginable becomes realistic...

Batons are way cheaper than tasers!
This article is sarcastic. It's called humour.
If you don't get it please read "What I REALLY think about police..."
So I don't get why we're paying $500 for a taser for police.
I mean, if we're going to let them kill people, why don't we just repeal the laws that kept police from beating people to death with their batons over the last 50 years.
I mean, really, a baton is much cheaper, and just as effective, especially when you get 5 guys whaling away at the vic----oops, PERPETRATOR.
Just let them fucking beat people to death with their fucking batons.
Don't give them any hassles when they pull someone in on a spurious charge and he's covered in bruises and welts and blood.
These tasers are too clean and bloodless. They can zap someone a half dozen times and we don't get to see any damage? How are you going to instill the fear of authority in people if they don't actually see the effect that non compliance with all orders of the tools of the ruling class makes?
If people regularly see other people getting beaten to death or nearly so for smoking a joint in public or not understanding english, they'll get with the programming that much faster don't you think?
And a baton only costs $50 bux when you buy them in bulk
Hell, why don't we just give them spikes on the batons, that would be way more effective, and a lot cheaper than a zap gun that costs as much as a real fucking revolver.
I mean, why don't we just lower the threshold for offences where deadly force with a pistol can be used?
Just shoot those fucking potheads, mentally ill, homeless, junkies, prostitutes, immigrants and all the other human trash that are too ugly for retail, or can't be happy picking up litter and serving yuppies their non-dairy decaf lattes....
They do it in lots of other christian countries, why not here?
