God is a Telephone: How Monotheism Hijacked the Immanent Gods to Hold Us All Hostage

Wow. This is it. The big questions answered!
It's going to grow on you

I promise.

I'm going to talk at length about a concept Margaret Murray refers to as the "Immanent God". Which is more of a process, really...

Ms. Murray doesn't actually go on at length about the concept of the Immanent God of the covens in her book, she is more interested in documenting the existence of the relationship between coven members and the High Priest or Priestess wearing the aspect of the Immanent god/goddess while interacting with the members of the coven.
Since her work is based on transcripts of Christian "legal" proceedings, the descriptions are colored and blemished by the conqueror's mistranslations, and she herself doesn't give more than a page to the exposition of the ancient concept, so I want to give a better explanation of this ancient communications process from an internal point of view.
It's not a physical reality.
But let's start with an analogy.
The phone.
You've been transported into an ancient land.
After being there a while you are invited to a ritual or dance.
You don't understand.
They are praying to a telephone.
A phone made of bone and muscle, but it is not the phone that is ever miraculous
It is the Voice
The Voice in the phone of someone you know that you communicate with
and grow through your communication with
Like a bad dream you try to tell them
its only a phone
