Reclaiming "Witchcraft" from the Ditzies

Witchcraft is such a stupid term.
It's like "christianity" in one sense, it refers to a huge, wide ranging set of often opposing belief systems.
Neopaganism is the same, and occultist spiritualities even more so.

I don't normally get along with Dianic witches much. Diana hates men. She's a dyke that hates men so she doesn't work for any neopagan group that includes men. She is always at war with the Panokoi. Because Pan keeps stealing her bitches. Time and again. She always claims it was rape, but really, they snuck off happily with him because they were tired of Lady Di's controlling bullshit. And the flute thing was nice too.

Anyway. This Samhain, consider where you hold your spiritual gatherings or "rituals".
Consider the space you are using.

Is it run by a bunch of fat white misogynists who have a permanent problem with queers and other different types of people? Honestly, think about the energy of the space. Who is using it when you aren't having your holy little "ritual".

Are there security cameras in the building? A guest list? A mailing list?

Lots of honeypots out there for little dumb witchies to get sidetracked with.
If the space is really cheap, maybe there is a reason for it.

The hatred against "witchcraft" is so deep, regardless of what your craft consists of.
Your enemies don't care.
They'll gladly offer you something
so that over the next year they can TARGET you.

That's why neopaganism is dispersing, rather than collecting together and growing.

Because the Ditzies are in charge.
They organize well, and make sure everyone is accounted for, manifesting good and light
and all that fucking shit.

The Ditzies are like lemmings
They'll lead you over a cliff
or into a situation where you lose your witchy secrecy and are marked
later to be followed
mocked
bullied

be sure and watch your drinks in the next few weeks little witchies
because your "rituals" are being enacted
in places populated by men
who hire whores off the street twice a month
if they don't run them.

You have to get smarter witchies
most of the Ditzies are too ugly to worry
but YOU should think carefully
about where you gather your energies
and why

The Vancouver Pagan Temple

After years of watching the Neopagan movement in Vancouver (and Canada) dissolve and be dispersed, I decided I would create a Temple for Neopagans in Vancouver (and elsewhere).

The Vancouver Pagan Temple is now actively seeking members.

We intend to offer over the next year:

- Weekly gatherings for members to interact and socialize
- Full Moon gatherings and rituals(13 times a year!)
- Solstice/equinox gatherings

The first 8 gathers will be in various rented spaces until we get a large enough membership to negotiate a long term arrangement for a hall.

Once we get fully up and running and get a permanent space we will be working on a set of curricula for members who wish to learn other aspects of paganism that they are interested in.

At first, however, we intend to focus on the gatherings and full moon events as a place for witches, druids, shamans, eclectics, and other forms of neopaganists to gather and make positive socialization and networking.

An important focus of the Vancouver Pagan Temple is the safety and security of it's long term members. Strength in numbers is what we are about, giving solitaries and small covens a larger group to identify with and interact with.

Check back soon!

our contact email is:

vanpagantemple@gmail.com

It's no charge to contact me. If you want to have a one on one, it's $10 bux so I can buy a coffee. Priests need coffee too.

Gatherings will be approx. $10 per weekly gathering, including music and there will be very cheap food available.
Moon Rituals will be more closed and cost $20.

Why a fee? Halls cost money, spaces cost money, a priest needs some form of compensation, and lastly, I hope to actually pay people who help out with chairs or food or organizing, instead of constantly mooching free volunteers.
