It's that time a year again.
Pay $40 for software that the gov't makes millions licensing
Or pay $40 for a tax prep firm to do it, again gov't licensing fees
Or fill it out laboriously by hand and MAIL it at a cost to youself and the slow pace of snail mail
I can download a fucking PDF of the tax worksheets
I should be able to download a fucking AUTOMATED SPREADSHEET as well, and I should be able to EMAIL the fucking automatic spreadsheet.
There's NO FUCKING EXCUSE for this shit.
Tons of fucking paper, or money.
It would take a computer savvy high school student less than 2 hours to create a fucking automatic tax spreadsheet. So why can't highly paid computer security experts at Revenue Canada do the same?
Because they're making fucking MILLIONS by licensing.
And they're fucking us all in the ass with their stone age bullshit.
There's no fucking problem with emailing a spreadsheet either.
That's what fucking virus scanners are for, that's what security analysts are for.
A person could fake your paper tax return and send it in just as easily as any bloody email or online form, fuck their Netfile bullshit $40.
It should automatically be calculated. You should only have to do something about it if there's a mistake or you want to add write offs!!

Why am I so mad? I don't have the $1 to send it in through the mail.
