Long ago I started this blog for a set of articles I was working on, dealing with social justice, political reform, "class" issues, and the like. I was going to have separate blogs for just poetry and my philosophical works and the comparative mythology/occult/spirituality research I've been up to in the last couple of years. Then it just exploded. Life, that is.

I got ripped off, like many poor inventors/artists/writers who don't have the money to print or produce their works themselves. I ended up broke and poor and without a home, while the people who worked on the project I wasn't paid for, all have houses and cars, new children, boats, all bought with money made in the last 7-10 years working on a series that I was consulted in the creation of.

My dog and I live with nothing, trying to keep out of the rain,
while someone else who worked on this series drinks $500 bottles of wine.
We gather bits of food to make soup with,
while hundreds of people on the project eat at work
then go home to their almost paid for houses
and order delivery while they watch their widescreen TV's with surround,
their kids playing downstairs on new X-box's.
The man who refuses to pay me for the work I did on the pilot owns a dozen houses.
Right here in the neighborhood where I live in my van.
They all get together and laugh.
There's money to throw at peon lawmakers.
Here in Canada, justice is bought, not blind.
It's frustrating to see the illusion of a "just" society completely peeled away.
It's disturbing to see people reduced to rats, vultures, snarling fighting dogs.
Cannibal carnivores spewing shit about "community" as they fuck each other over for scraps.

That's why, over the last 3 years, my blog has become a bit ranting, sometimes repeating concepts, lots of poetry and vehement shouting, the banter and screams of a bloodied fool.

Neutralizing Martin Luther King...

I've talked before about COINTELPRO and how it still operates today.
I was just listening to the song Wake Up by RATM
and wanted to look up the counterintelligence document that Zack is quoting in the song.

"Through counterintelligence it should be possible to pinpoint potential troublemakers and neutralize them... "

Apparently, it was written almost specifically for the black panthers and Martin Luther King.

Now hailed as a hero of equal rights and peace, to the U.S. Government of the time he was an enemy of the state and a target of cointelpro.

So check out the breadth of the Church committee's findings, supposedly ending in 1976, and just believe, for a second, that it never really ended, just was made completely eyes only and in fact still operates today, right here in Canada and anywhere in the world that the U.S. has a strategic interest.

Do you think it's a wise policy for the RCMP and CSIS to allow these illegal domestic intelligence techniques to be applied by Americans in Canada to legitimate activist and protest groups in Canada based on whether or not the ideology of these groups is antagonistic to the favored ideology of the current Canadian government?

Do you think the RCMP should try to break apart groups trying to strengthen social medicare, like they did in the 60's in Saskatchewan? Are other social change/activism groups valid targets for domestic police infiltration and subversion? Is it acceptable for an officer or team employed by municipal/provincial/federal governments to use various well documented tactics to break apart "fringe" groups (read: minority) involved in legitimate activism or protest regardingsuch as queer, first nations, anti capitalism, social justice, women's issues, welfare reform, strikers, etc? Are psyops tactics such as, red baiting, agent provocateurs, defamation, re-direction, and straight up harrassment based on group affiliation valid in a democracy? Does a team of all male, white, middle class, right wing boozers really represent our nation to the extent that they can use dirty methods to thwart activists and social groups with impunity??

Oh wait, this is the TV and ME generation with memories as long as Dory the bluefish, so let's refresh your memories a bit about what kind of evidence planting and covert operations against legally gathered citizen's has occurred in the past by police working not for LAW but for the special interest of money....

I believe in Canada there is no true justice anymore, corruption is permeated throughout the legal and political structure. But that's just my opinion.

Who'll never get any in a Canadian legal system where 1/4 of the support personnel for the courts, and yes even JUDGES, regularly use cocaine with impunity, a legal system wholly under control of major crime groups, a legal system that lets the U.S. use it against its own people....

Anyone who is poor in Canada can't even get a lawyer, and if they are up against someone rich like C. Taylor vs. Robert Cooper of SGA, they don't have a chance.

The U.S. regularly uses Canadian passports to move their covert people around the world, yet all we ever hear about is the evil muslims using Canadian visas.

Marc Emery sold about $4 million dollars worth of seeds which were legal to sell here, and he's being extradited for 5 years.

Robert Cooper, according to our 15-20% legally binding agreement with witnesses, owes me more than twice what Emery made, yet his U.S. based lawyers have enough pull here to make sure it never sees the light of a Canadian court, and if it does, what will the Judge's alliance be?
Not with the concept of JUSTICE, that's for sure. It'll be with his dealer's side, or whoever brings the paper bag of dough. Who will ever see how much money is in the paper bag? Nobody.
Offer any Canadian Judge $200k or more and I guarantee justice will look the other way.

Soon, if Harper has his way, we'll be sending young people to jail in Canada for having the equivalent of a case of beer in marijuana. One plant will get a horticulturally curious Canuck kid a year in jail.

But at least 5 B.C. police officers have nabbed drunk driving in the past year, well over the legal limit, and they all just skated away, laughing.

3 off duty police beat a colored man in downtown Vancouver why shouting racist slurs, and only one gets even a slap on the wrist, and no hate speech laws are invoked.

The law is lawless in B.C. and in Canada in general.

CSIS is impotent to investigate or stop corruption in our Canadian legal and political systems.

Consider this: if we did a massive surprise piss in a bottle test of every municipal/provincial/federal politician and all of their support staff in Canada, do you honestly think we would get a whole lot of drug users showing up on our search? I abso-fucking-lutely guarantee we'd find 1/4 of everyone tested guilty of using at least one illegal drug or illegally gotten pharmaceutical.

My comments on the "copyright e-consultation"

so the Feds just had this big "e-consultation" on copyright.
Lots of industry pressure to lock up 15 year olds for their music sharing and movie downloading.
The Gov't is greedily licking its lips as it contemplates an internet that is finally controlled, so they can silence the remaining independent voices without anyone knowing.

Here are my answers to the bullshit questionnaire:

1. How do Canada’s copyright laws affect you? How should existing laws be modernized?

I'm poor, like many Canadians, and everyone I know is poor. Fining and jailing people for downloading music is evil, especially when the entertainment industry is gouging people for $30+ for DVD's that cost them pennies. Many films critical of governments and industries will be unavailable if people can't download them. Canadian artists benefit from mp3 downloading, no one would ever have heard the barenaked ladies outside of Canada if people hadn't passed mp3s around. Canadian business rely on cracked versions of software and they make money, yet they won't seem to be targeted by this. 50%+ of Canadian businesses are using some version of a cracked software. Are you going to fine every one of them? There should only be repercussions if money is made off of the infringement. This is gov't backing of a large scale media monopoly by 3 major cartels.

2. Based on Canadian values and interests, how should copyright changes be made in order to withstand the test of time

Canadian artists are regularly ripped off of their ideas by unscrupulous wealthy people, mostly americans. If someone with some shared mp3's will get a fine, then I want to see intellectual property theft of canadian artists, writers and inventors backed up by criminal police investigations. These rich producers know a Canadian artist doesn't have the money to get a lawyer to help them sue for their share of ripped of ideas.

3. What sorts of copyright changes do you believe would best foster innovation and creativity in Canada?

Allow people to keep their personal downloading. Focus on making Intellectual property theft of ideas worth over $500,000 a criminal RCMP investigation and case. Put rich thieving producers in jail and allow the RCMP to use extra tools such as lie detectors and phone surveillance on foreign producers in Canada. There are so many creative Canadians, but the media created in Canada is all owned by americans, most of whom rip the content of from impoverished creators right here.

4. What sorts of copyright changes do you believe would best foster competition and investment in Canada?

Leave the personal downloading laws as they are, make Canadian content rules tougher so that projects in Canada have to have Canadian origins, and give the RCMP and CSIS the jurisdiction and tools to investigate large scale IP theft in Canada. Fining a single mom for her childs file sharing is sick when a Canadian writer can be ripped off for a film idea that ends up being worth a couple of million dollars and no police officer will ever even look at it, in fact they'll laugh.

5. What kinds of changes would best position Canada as a leader in the global, digital economy?

Make sure that Canadian artists get gov't tax breaks, not big American media.

Allow people to download programs and media files for personal use.

Canad is full of technically oriented people now because canadians download software they can't afford and learn how to use it.

Lock up that access and we become a new nation of emasculated idiots.


Everybody keep in mind: 50% of Canadian businesses are using some kind of stolen/cracked software in a mission critical purpose. Confiscate all that software at once and the country goes tits up. Try calling the RCMP to report a company using $100k of software they haven't paid for. They don't even have a detective assigned to that!!!

But kids with ipods and downloaded buffy episodes? Get the fucking swat team out there...

So Vancouver council is going to arrest and institutionalize homeless persons who refuse to "get help" (basically, be institutionalized voluntarily or we'll forcibly do it)

kind of like those old vagrancy laws where people got locked up if they were caught sleeping on the kings land.

Love the spin they put on it..."force them to get help", if there was actual "help" available you wouldn't need to force them, it's because the "help" that's not really available is a whole lot of useless bullshit, that's why people don't voluntarily choose brainwashing incarceration (I mean "help").

Bet the jail system will make $150 dollars a day off each homeless person, just to give them 3 sandwiches a day and a bed. Can't spend more money on shelters though...

The big fatman in the paper is trying to spin it as not a cleanup...just "getting people into shelters" bullshit. I've been trying to get into a shelter for over 6 months, I fucking gave up. If the "shelters" were actually there, if they didn't try to forcibly make people "clean up according to christian principles", if they weren't places where women who go there might get raped or beaten, IF they were actually actually shelters and not money sucking ripoffs of the system...so much bullshit...

Intersex in the media: new stories only scratch the tip of the eugenics iceberg...

A while ago I wrote at length about Canada's horrifying eugenics program that still operates covertly after its legality was "challenged" in the '70's...

Now, because of the Caster Semenya story we see a story on the front page of the Vancouver Province today about an intersex woman telling her story...

This issue highlights a serious human rights and sexual discrimination problem in Canada.

Unfortunately, even though we supposedly have "hate speech" laws and laws against discrimination based on gender, no one actually gets arrested under these laws, and even more disturbing in a country that has always had a HUGE problem with racism and homophobia, nobody, really, has ever been convicted or spent any time in jail for these crimes.

A law that is put in place to protect a targeted minority, that never actually results in any perpetrators being jailed is a disturbing use of "spin" to show "we are actually tolerant"
The truth of life in Canada does not bear any resemblance to the media portrayal of Canada when it comes to gender and race minorities.

I'm going to throw some shit at you. Disturbing ideas for you to consider. Some of these things seem too hateful to be true. I'm not going to back them up with anything, I'm just going to say them, and I trust in time and the few independent true journalists that are left in the world to one day prove my points. I'm broke and homeless so I don't really have the energy right now to give you a lot of reference links.

Semenya, in Canada, would never have gotten to where she is. She would probably be dead or a whore here. Now that her story is plastered all over the world I think its inevitable that someone in her country with a hate on for "freaks of nature" like her will attempt to kill her.
I don't think the human race will ever evolve further sometimes.

So.

Intersex humans born in Canada have the following things occur to them by family, society, policy, and the targeting of them by certain special interest groups:

1. At birth if an intersex determination is made the child is given a sex reassignment surgery based on the "determined" sex. That means if the child is more male anything female would be cut/sewn/removed and vice versa. This is usually done before the age of 2 nowadays, in the past it was so many people had the second thing happen to them. In certain cases the parents may be given the chance at hormonal change therapy while the child is still in the womb to cause a chemical switch, or sometimes the parents are given the opportunity to abort based on the mixed gender visible in prenatal scans.

2. The parents were told to move to another place away from family immediately and wait until near puberty and never tell the child, raise them as one or the other gender as seems right. The the child before the age of 18 would go in for some other benign surgery or complications from the intersex configuration they were never told about, and without knowledge or consent the previous operation would be performed, preferrably before puberty.

3. The human who then moves forward in life never quite understanding why they seem to have a strange hormone mix, weight problems, etc. who can't figure out why they can't attract the opposite sex (intersexuality fucks your hormones up so your pheremones are messed up too), why people laugh at them, make "Pat" jokes, etc.

That person is NEVER told by anyone in the medical profession that they meet throughout their life that this intersex gender configuration exists and that alterations were made to them. I find this kind of disturbing, an unwritten (or perhaps somewhere it is actually written down) policy of lying to a patient about their medical history based on a cultural bias that allows people to selectively be misinformed about the medical state of their bodies because of gender.

If the intersex person begins to suspect that something is wrong, even with all of their family lying to them, their family doctor lying to them, never getting to see any internal soft tissue scans, etc., if they still persist they will continue to be lied to and any further inquiries will have them sent to a psychologist. There, without any supporting documentation regarding the actual state of their bodies they will be grilled for at least 3 visits and every opportunity will be used to make them decide to stay "the gender that they are" or "switch" apparent genders.

No attempt will be made to gather proof of past genital mutilation, any request by the intersex person to know what was done to them will be met with an outright lie. Most intersex persons would like to be as they "are", as they were born, without mutilation/snipping/sewing up/tying/etc. This is not an option for them anywhere in the system, they must choose male/female. They won't be given the option. They don't get the choices other people get about their bodies.

No lawyer will help someone who is intersex get information about themselves or what was done to them. No lawsuit will ever go to court over the forced assignment surgery. Not this year or the next or the next. It's for the "good of the gene "pool".

4. Health care requires a lot of support workers, anyone in the chain that deals with intersex persons could potentially give their personal information to groups that target intersex persons for religious or cultural reasons of hatred. Although seemingly unthinkable, many religious and cultural hatreds of "hermaphrodites" (visible intersex expressions) is extremely deep and virulent. In many world views intersex humans are not classified as human beings, but as "abominations" and sterilization or destruction is seen as "God's will" or "for the good of the race/gene pool/society". Medical health services is a job like any other and many extreme orthodox religious views are represented in the patient handling chain, since specific facilities for intersex persons do not actually exist in most Canadian provinces.

5. In the age of electronic file management, any hospital technician or receptionist can access data about intersex individuals, and some can even search databases of patients using this as a search term. Workers in the same offices that are supposedly aimed at helping intersex persons get what they need can easily get recruited. Turn some pimp/gang on to 3 or four of these people a year in exchange for an extra $50K? Extra money just to give some freak's address out? Do you really think our technicians and doctors are so righteous they won't pick up a phone for ten grand and say "I got another one?"

If you believe that, I have some real estate in Heaven to sell you cheap...

6. Technicians that come into contact with intersex persons can at their discretion in many cases use the medical scanning device they are operating to cause damage or infertility to the intersex person. This was also a common method of sterilizing First Nations women or persons with Refugee status who had "too many children". Most persons with severe mental or physical hereditary conditions had this happen to them during the '60's to '80's in Canada, but in fact this practice continues to this very day.

7. As strange as it seems there are many groups that target intersexual persons in order to exploit them or destroy them. These groups usually have either money or religious motivations.

-Pornographers and gangs that make money from prostitution. An intersex person depending on their configuration can make as much as $10, 000 per day for these people. Rich people will actually pay much more than that to have them abducted for sex slavery if they are attractive.
Any of the following and previous persons can be paid money by one of these groups for locating another target.

These next ones are gonna have you scratching your head at first. Keep in mind that congregations of the following religious groups actually exist in every larger Canadian city.
Maybe also keep in mind humanity's continuous record of killing each other for believeing something different, not just for being somewhat different...

-The Church (ie: Christian based religious groups) "in the image of God" doesn't allow for significant aberration. If the child isn't killed it will certainly be sent off on its own by puberty.
Regardless of the "love your brother" schtick of the hype, most christian sects have very little tolerance for anyone deviating from the rest of the herd. Most likely some of the young christian righteous males will put a beating on the intersex individual if the story gets out, and in much of Canada at least, where orthodoxy rules, such a person would get tied to a post or hit with a truck while walking. We're very highly evolved here.

-Islam (Muslim based religious groups) pretty much dead at birth in these strongholds. Toast.

-Jewish I don't have the details. I can't tell if these people love or hate intersex. I know they feel strongly, the name "elohim" when broken down means roughly "goddess men". What is clear, however, is that almost any path connected to Cabbala hunts intersex people.

-Cabbalah(but non Jewish) based religious groups originating from europe from such as OTO, Golden Dawn, anything associated with Crowley, and all forms of Freemasonry generally consider these people to be legitimate targets to be ripped off of any ideas or property of value and systematically attacked by members of the group until they are destroyed or kill themselves. How many Masonic Lodges or masonic based practices that have women as members, never mind women leaders? Well basically, if you're not a "man" then you can be a target. In much Masonic lore, based on previous occult writings, the suffering of an intersex/hermaphrodite person is considered like a trophy. You can brag about it like having a stag head on the wall.

-Occultists (of varying orders) Some occult systems venerate intersex, in many cultures they are the Seers/Oracles, often they are Shamans, in some Hermetics they are seen as a higher vessel of spirit. In other darker systems they are tortured and abused to create the maximum amount of misery so that the dark practitioners can absorb the pain energy emitted. Many of these paths actually bfriend the person, appear to be giving them support or friendship, but work together as a group to make sure that the intersex person is in a constant state of emergency or trauma to generate the spirit energy they are "gathering". There are actually a lot of these darker paths that see intersex persons as a spirit battery or energy source, but the person themself is simply "used" and then discarded or killed. Apparently a "hermaphrodite" generates more "spirit energy" when it is tormented than other humans do. People write this shit, other people read it, and yes there are people who believe it strongly and actively seek out intersex people to practice what they read on. Unfortunately in the "ME" society, the number of people who can see intersex people as oracles and seers is smaller than the combined groups of wannabe dark occultists who would hunt and torment them.

-White power/purity/eugenics/hate fanatics attempt to beat up or destroy any queer person, but intersex persons are targeted with more venom than any other form of queer person because of the actual physical "abnormality" involved. The violence of attacks against intersex persons is usually extreme and many persons like this have severe dental damage from violence, especially if they are more androgynous.

-Almost anyone can rip off an intersex person with impunity. As the example of Da Vinci shows, they are extremely powerful, artistic, thoughtful, creative human beings, but they get ripped off on a regular basis for their works. Who's going to care if someone rips off a "freak"?


So what can be done?
Should we "help" these people?
Most aren't very happy with the "help" they've been given by science.
What do they need?

This is what I think:

1. Lifetime disability status.

Face it. Everyone wants them dead. 4 out of 5 people will try to screw them any way they can.
If they're visibly different they can get attacked on the street. Police will laugh at them as often as help them. The hatreds and attacks they face are difficult to prove in court and there are few lawyers that will even think of representing them, and that's if they have money.

Landlords and employers regularly shun them.

From birth everyone with an intersex issue, whether it shows or not, should have disability and the education options disability provides.

2. Total control by the the individual of what they wish to do with this throughout their life. No genital mutilation or reassignment in infancy. At 12 they should get the rundown, fully, and it should be their own choice. They should get to choose for themselves before puberty. They should also have the option of just leaving it as it is and getting some surgery later if things need to be adjusted.

3. Each province should have a clinic specializing in intersex, everyone who works there should be bondable and have psychological testing to determine their amount of prejudice. Information should be doctors eyes only and should only be available to the doctor and patient. Intersex patients should have the right to copies of every test or scan. Free psychological counselling, from psychologists who are themselves intersex (honestly, they do exist). If a specialist in another province is needed, health care should cover the trip.

Very few people realize that there isn't even an actual specialist in Intersex in Vancouver, the "queer friendly province". Just GP's and regular surgery specialists, no one who has specialization in the specific problems for Intersex. Even though there are a few thousand intersex people in BC.

But again, none of them will ever get actual treatment. So who cares if they get a botched job and useless nerve endings.

4. Specific protection for intersex persons under the charter of rights as there is no particular protection for gays, lesbians, transgendered(who are often unknowingly intersex), and intersex. Specific laws designed to protect them from exploitation. Gender identity based crimes are almost never prosecuted under hate legislation, just simple assault.

Canadian Government creating new legislation to protect endangered TV/Radio Payola system

A collection of Film producers and executives are pushing once again to make it a crime for kids to download movies and songs.
They want the police to protect their massive profits and allow their lawyers to threaten ordinary people so they can tighten the cartel that holds us to paying $30 for a CD that the original artists only make $1 profit on.
The police won't investigate US film production companies ripping off local canadian artists, but a 15 year old downloading a movie his minimum wage mom can't afford to rent should get sued they assert.
The police in canada would have to lock up or arrest 50% of Canadian businesses, that's how many are using some cracked version of a business software.

Yet those same producers can take some Canadian artists ideas and make a couple of million, and the legal system here just laughs at local artists while taking kickbacks and paid for joyrides.

Have a good laugh when someone speaks about justice in Canada.

Film Unions vs. Artists

I'm reading an excellent book called "The Film Director as Superstar"
Inside it's cheesy 70's cover is a collection of interviews with famous directors
most of whom began with self funded independent films
Reading it has reaffirmed much of what I've seen here
in "hollywood north", the same kind of ripoffs and control
it's amazing.

I've actually liked unions for most of my life.
If it wasn't for unions, we'd all be serfs, not just the majority of us.
Unions grew out of gangs, and gangs are basically unions of poor people
sticking together to oppose the oppression, domination, and thievery of the rich.
Most unions started out from businesses built by gangs that originated from racial discrimination.

So the Italian, Irish, Black, Hispanic, etc. immigrants who encountered hatred and discrimination when they came to north america, banded together to make work for each other and protect their people from ending up in sweatshops.

The book is facinating.
The starting stories of these directors are really similiar to what I've encountered here in this city.
Kubrick, De Palma, Lucas, Polanski, and others all seem to tell a similar story, with some excellent quotes I might add later to this.

Their first couple films had to be made with their own money.
No one wanted them to tell THEIR story.
All the money people, the "hollywood" bullshit, tried to keep them from making their first films
tried to shut them out, shut them up
Because they didn't want anyone else to control their vision
They didn't want to make a film by comittee
they had a vision, and they were willing to work with a small crew of independents to make it happen.
Now they are all superstar award winners.
But in the beginning, their first films almost didn't get made
because of the hierarchical control system of the tinseltown monopolists
and active harassment by film unions.

The film unions pressured each of these directors, even threatening them.
But none of these now famous men could afford to make their first films that way
Hiring union people requires lots of money and a much larger crew
and as soon as someone else pays the money
then the message gets altered

These are men who are now seen as giants in film
innovators, risk takers, visionaries
It wasn't until they had some success with their own work, funded with life's savings, that they could get funding without their work being subject to alteration by a goldmonger.

The professional closure that unions create is good for the workers that are represented by a union
but terrible for art itself.

A union doesn't care that it's churning out 20 movies a year that sell guns and death to children

I really loved the Wickerman
It was an amazing film, with an interesting history.
It almost never made it to theaters.
The director is currently working on another similar film.

Being a "horror cult classic", the Wickerman has drawn millions of viewers, many of whom are high as a kite on hallucinogens (entheogens).
I know I was melting along with the walls the first time I saw it.
Hmmm.
Anyways. It's great. Horror without gore in the best of suspenseful movie traditions.

Lee is well known for his many horror films
I always associate him with Dracula and its sequels...

The wickerman had a beautiful take on paganism, and a very well portrayed vision of this little island cult. Lee's performance and monologues describing the island and it's beliefs, even at the end, when the wickerman is being lit, are very convincing.

And like other horror works throughout the history of film, there have been lots of people who got a bit too wrapped up in it and took its words and representations as "truth".

It's an odd thing, but common. I recently read about a 5 year old who was convinced he was imbued with all the qualities of Airbender. I'm sure most people can remember someone who believed in a particular movie just a bit too much.

So little we know of the deep influence new forms of media such as television have, never before in our history have we spent so much time as passive receivers of stories, instead of the interactive stories and books we once used.

The concepts of the wickerman moved like a meme through our society at the same time the works of Crowley, Levi, Wilson, and Barker began to achieve wide circulation after centuries of severe print censorship began to erode..........

Older data is not usually not true, and we have to remember that the majority of written work and research on spirituality, especially by individuals and more "nature based" philosophies was lost in the great purges of the inquisition. What we have left are mostly fakeries, mishmashed collections, and christian influenced collections that are far from the original material.

The christian religions have disillusioned many people with inherent hypocrisies and abuses, so people go searching...

So many people searching for spiritual truth, they want the keys to their own being given to them with the smallest amount of work possible, and in their searches they pore over old texts, many of which are truly filled with rubbish. They find their nuggets of truth perhaps, but they always seem to grip tightly to some piece of rubbish or another that blackens them, and there are no shortage of "leaders" to lead them even further astray.

The idea is to ignite the light inside you, without getting it wrapped up in spikey black shit.

One thing that constantly amazes me is how many people I've met who are against christianity, but then they lock themselves into a paradigm that's based on Jewish Qabbalah. Golden Dawn, O.T.O, Thelema, Theosophy, Masonism, Rosicrucianism, they are all based on Qabbalah, which is Torah, which is the basic foundation of the Old Testament, which forms the base of Orthodox Christianity.

It doesn't make any sense to me at all. I'm not Jewish, so Qabbalah really doesn't do anything for me, just like Jesus doesn't have any special significance to someone with Jewish heritage. Why would someone seeking spiritual knowledge that's different from Christianity choose an alternative that's basically the the same shit?

Kabbalah itself is supposedly a very beautiful system, according to some level headed spiritualists I've spoken with. It's just really obtuse and convoluted and requires more than one translation to study properly if you don't read hebrew.

The problem lies with the approach that many non-jewish occultists such as Crowley have taken where any Christian symbolism is reversed, in black and white, making bad=good and good=bad.
It's far to simplified and just makes a strange Frankenstein monster of the process, leading to sickness and hierarchical foolishness. LeVey's take on "satanism" (TM) does a similar reversal structure of the christian system rather than start from scratch and use a proper observational method. In the end we end up with a whole lot of little badasses running around trying to be"evil" while basically following the same orthodox theological cosmology in reverse that they pretend to oppose. They use the same names, the same references and books and dictates and just try to view them in their "mirrored" system.

On top of this Christian/Orthodox/Judaic cultural appropriation, they attach other religious concepts, most notably the "Egyptian" motif that Crowley and the Masonic orders are so fond of.
In case you've lived under a rock all your life, the Egyptians were a nasty bunch 2000 years ago, enslaving whole civilizations, treating people as less than animals, and strangely enough, they hated the Jewish people and brutally enslaved them.

Doesn't anyone else think combining Egyptian pantheism with Judaic mysticism seem a little like breeding lions with sheep?

Theosophy didn't really do much better, combining Kabbalah with Hinduism and other "eastern" motifs. Again they just took a bunch of over ritualized hierarchical concepts appropriated from other cultures and stirred them together to create a weird stew that would sell books, draw donations and bring neophytes to the fold.

This Reactionism in general is at the root of a resurgence in over-reliance on Ritual, Cultural Appropriation, and eventually throwing everything into the pot, including human lives.
Trading one set of paradigms for another is useless if we don't critically evaluate our purposes for doing so and assess the results with regards to our needs or expectations.

I once sat through a hour long presentation by an occultist who was explaining how to "properly" make a magic circle. She professed to be "wiccan" and then proceeded to outline a 6 hour circle building process based on information from 3 old grimoires, one of which is a proven hoax, and they were all based on Qabbalist interpretations and lists of "demons" and symbols, mostly focused on the seal of solomon. As if these "demons" or ethereal beings really answer to names in human languages such as hebrew and don't answer to any other form of address.

I thought it was the funniest thing I'd seen in a long time.
The reality of circles is, they are a projection of your mind,
so all you need is your mind, chalk is just a crutch.
Imagine a cylinder of light around you, it's easier than a sphere.
That's really it. All of it.

Reality is a subjective interpretation for each and every human
and the range of this experience is vast.

Yet collectively and individually we all have evolutions to towards new versions of ourselves

Our society has indeed seen many forms of human sacrifice, from individuals to mass genocides where suffering is collected, with so many great explanations for our descent into madness.
What starts with one, creates another and another until a once nurturing society becomes a continual scene of murder.

And that's probably the greatest of reasons for our need to look closely and see that people do this thing even now. In our last century there were many little groups of all denominations committing these atrocities, torture and death for enlightenment.

The Inquisition and Salem Witch trials were christian forms of human sacrifice.
Few people realize that some of the victims of the salem trials weren't even pubescent.
High ranking officials of the SS engaged in a number of human sacrifices before their "mediums" decided the best were children, and lots of orphans disappeared around their facility.
There were so many orphans, like the homeless today, that no one really spoke up.

Millions died in the horrifying purges of the Inquisition.
King Charlemagne, long recognized for many societal reforms, killed over 10, 000 germanic "pagans" in one day because they refused to convert to christianity. One religious belief killing another is basically a sacrifice for one's "god". IMHO

One school of Buddhism in some parts of the world still uses torture and murder in ritual, although almost every other form of Buddhism has a no harm to life policy.
There have always been "Brujo" that follow this path, the great sacrificial edifices of certain Maya cultures show us such a focus on pain and blood, death magic to the extreme,
and coming up to 2012 there is an increased interest in them by many new agers.
Egypt spilled blood in massive amounts as well, and was well known for it's massive implementation of slavery.
Masonic orders, basically a form of orthodox christianity with qabbalist and eastern mystical components have tried every form of religious rite in their past, and some would argue that there is evidence to support modern practices of human sacrifice in the rituals of some lodges.

Just a few years ago a large number of people were killed in various parts of Africa for reputedly using "magic" or "juju" to cause men's penises to shrink.

Stoning someone still happens regularly around the world, and always for a religious moralist reason.

Everywhere there have been people who tried human sacrifice.
In the "developed" countries it usually occurs smaller groups or alone because of the knowledge that common society around them would dissaprove...

Why?

Because it's easy.
It works and it's easy
like a huge greasy mcdick burger that fills the void and makes you feel full,
but in the end gives you a lot less than you needed and even causes harm.
It's a fast way to tip a lot of people over the edge quickly, but in doing so it spreads a sickness through the participants, and that sickness always spreads.
If the participants don't go mad and kill themselves, they eventually internalize the event and create their own explanatory mythology to justify it.
And out of a huge mass of participants, offshoots break out, and new centers of the same shite begin to propogate.

Once a year becomes twice a year becomes 8 or 12 times a year,
becomes every time they have a fucking party.
Why don't we try it, becomes "that was exciting" and eventually becomes WTF.
And it multiplies and spreads,
the large numbers of participants looking for a thrill always equates to a form of profit,
in followers or admissions,
which then makes others want to recreate the same profit making event

It's also a huge well of EGO that usually initiates these things.
I am so great, we will do the ultimate blah blah blah....
but so much of the "occult" or "magic" or "religion" is really about ego in the face of something we all contain within us to some degree or another.

What I always find interesting,
is those that practice evil shit never really seem gain that much...

So I'll go through a couple different ways that this sickness manifests in reality, and how it affects both the participants and society in general...

The first is the standard Big Ritual with the dais/altar/centrepiece.
In the center is a victim or (2/3) and everybody involved is part

The second is the Scarlet Whore takedown propogated through the fetishistic adoration of Crowley's work. Basically, a coven concentrates their energy and efforts on a woman who has a great depth of spiritual power, and through drugs, sex, and coercive mental subversion they gradually turn her into a whore. In more refined covens she has a role similiar to a "holy courtesan" and in covens that are more base and focused on negative, evil aims she is brought down to the level of a street crack whore, and eventually dies debased and riddled with disease.

This methodology has long been used by Christian congregations as well, especially on women who had the audacity to try and divorce their husbands or remain single and sexually active after the death of their partner. Through the mechanisms Social Stigma and Social Economic Closure they make sure that she is unable to get work or any means to live so that in the end her choice is to either become a prostitute or go back to the flock and live piously. If she becomes a prostitute she may even be murdered by a member of the church with no serious ramifications for the killer as her death is seen as a form of religious "justice" which is used to keep other women in the group from attempting to gain freedom as well.

This methodology can also be used on someone outside of the group, which is common in "satanist" forms of practice where "weakness" is seen as the greatest of human evils, someone outside the group who is homeless or has addictive behaviors is brought down through character assassination and other indirect methodologies to a point where they lose contact with family or friends that might miss them or support them. Often members of of the attacking group will directly subvert and influence the minds and attitudes of the victims family and community in an effort to "give no ground" for the person to run to. Once the person is down and socially isolated, extensive attempts are further made to either make the person kill themselves, overdose, become jailed through group-made accusations, or simply get them into a position where they can be murdered in a group ritual without anyone noticing and no repercussions for the group.

Murder of the victim is often achieved through indirect means:
- give someone a tainted needle, or some other contact with aids or other sickness
-taint a user's drug supply
-poison
-Direct pharmacological attack as in the powder blowing scene of "serpent and the rainbow"
-having someone with a strong illness/flu/cold make transferable contact with the target
-"random" violence or abduction

These methods are difficult to point at, skirt around the concept of direct murder, and can be easily explained away by the group, except for the time of the death, which will generally coincide with a common spiritual day/week/time where the group focuses on their "ritual path"

In the end we have a whole bunch of "spiritual" members of society who could be a force of positive energy walking about trying to deal with a bad case of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and waves of psyche destroying guilt, a fine state for a would-be brainwasher to come along and mold them to a more adversarial form...

One of the main offshoots of this disturbing trend is that it is not really the "weak" that are targeted, but those who create possibly profitable works but have no means of production or distribution access. The group will target someone who has something like a book, a set of songs, artwork, an invention, an idea that can be worth profit. The group then targets this person as a prospect for their sacrifice, uses the methods outlined here and others to destroy them, and acquires the profit making object/idea that the now deceased could not capitalize on due to lack of resources or contacts. In effect they achieve robbery and murder, claim righteousness within their paradigm, split the profits, and have a good laugh after the funeral, which they usually attend. A homeless artist with 3000 attendees at their funeral is common in L.A. and other large cities, and now it begins to become prevalent here in sunny Vancouver (and elsewhere in Canada). Shortly after they have a "retrospective" to market the stolen works within a social gathering facade. And have another good laugh.

I've watched it happen more than once.

Another common target is practitioners of other spiritual systems, however, since the other congregation may intercede it is often lone practitioners such as shamans or the self initiated that become targets. Or neophytes who don't understand the process they are going through

Again, many against one is not a true form of weakness, and hopefully in more than one case the backlash of the target's community, or the vengeance of the "target" themselves may alter the societal perception of who is the prey and who is the hunter. In fact this is a common "job" of Shamans in many cultures worldwide, to point out murderers, thieves, pedophiles, rapists and others that hide within the community under a facade of respectability. The Shaman, who lives outside of the hierarchical structure and usually at a distance from the regular community has a point of view that is less hindered by ties, strictures, and games that allow a predator to hide in plain sight and even hold immense power within the community.

The various spiritual communities that fit under the moniker of Neopaganism need to be aware that allowing another clan to commit these acts unchallenged will in the end result in a blanket accusation against all of them, just as one or two rogue Santerian priests caused hundreds of other law-abiding Santerian groups to be targeted during the 70's. Literally millions of good honest people with nature-based philosophies and spiritual practices have died because of one or two groups in an area or country following the path of atrocity.

Why would I write about such things you wonder?
Because people have definitely disappeared.
People I once knew. People who made good conversation.

And the madness still lights up some foolish followers eyes,
a secretive laughter that reeks of lunacy.

I'd rather people did copious amounts of drugs and meditated together.
It's fast and sometimes dirty too, but at least it's not murder.

I would also like to note that I'm not really against traditions that perform animal sacrifice, but my personal belief is that it should be a form of feast and shouldn't incur cruelty.
It's not my cup of tea, but I like a good barbecue once in a while.
