$500 million for military drones? WTF?
In this Great Depression:
That would cover every unemployed Canadian who for whatever reason doesn't qualify for welfare/ei/disability/pension, all those people falling through the cracks would have the basic welfare rate for 5 years.
That would buy 167 or more MRI units, the most needed piece of medical equipment in Canada
That would pay for thousands more nurses and doctors to get grants for going to school with the guarantee that they would work in the Canadian healthcare system for the next 10 years.
It's a mind boggling amount of money that's going to line a corporate supporter's pockets, when Canadians have more pressing needs than robot surveillance.
