Intellectual property should be one of Canada's chief job
creators and competitive advantages in the global marketplace, yet Canadian inventors, authors, and entrepreneurs have been forced to stand
by and watch as their works are stolen by foreign infringers who are themselves recieving massive tax breaks from our own governments while they visit Canada and steal its mental resources and the profits which come from them.
Films and music make almost as much money as drugs, yet 90% of the films made in Canada are made by americans and they bring up american crews as well. They purchase things from american subsidiary companies.
The ideas from the shows and the artistic content within them come from Canadians, the tax breaks come from Canadians, lower paid Canadians work under the americans to make the film.
The money goes right across the border to the american movie company and residuals, which would normally keep the Canadian crew with some money, are all assigned to americans.
We pay for everything and make the product
Americans collect the money
That's fine with Harper and the Premiers,
at least its not Canadian filmmakers
they are too political.
Harper wants us all to make mcnuggets and timbits
but our ideas, and books, poems, films, animations
all of those things
are actually worth more to Canada monetarily
than all the fast food saver operations in Canada.

because of all the money stashing fraud and coke smuggling
yet they get the tax breaks and police protection.
