This is an important one that I've been working on for over a year.

Our society is filled with surveillance now. The amount of detailed tracking of society's members that is routine now would have caused half million people riots in the early '70's.
Anonymous travel is near impossible. All of these tracking systems are services we've bought ourselves into.
Your phone has gps "location services" which you gladly turn on so you can get the pretty little map with directions.
The compass card tracks you from vehicle to vehicle. You're a blip on the screen and a number referenced to an address database and a phone verification number, and every smart meter within 300 ft can tell what license plate, bank card, cell phone, or compass card is passing.
In 1920 every mailbox was fitted with a camera system to take a picture of who dropped off the mail. Some rich guy had his kid taken and they did that. It was there since 1920. Now everyone that leaves their house is snapped at least 50 times a day by computers or humans with phones.
Every car made in the last 15 years is a surveillance station. Sure, OnStar is a paid "service" but believe me, they can turn it on at will. Ever since those two patriot acts down south after 911.
Front, rear and cab cameras for everybody with a flick of the switch. Just fire up the monitor software on your laptop and let's tune into car #X.
When you go to the park or any major corner in the city, there's shaw mobi there, with 360 degrees of surveillance.
Drivers licenses, passports, even the new money, all have RFID layers that can be read 100ft away.
When we look at google maps its a year behind. Everything is actually scanned at least once a week, you just don't see that.
Your clearance is too low.
The surveillance is supposed to save us from "terrorists" or "serial killers". Boogey men.
Perhaps in the end it will save us from our own willfully ignorant stupidity.
because theres been a lot of bullshit going down and its time we put a stop to it.
If there has to be a device watching me on every bus, in every store, etc,
then we need the same surveillance in IMPORTANT places
Every officer of every police dept should have an active camera badge recording everything
When you sit with the doctor and explain your needs the entire examination should be recorded and there should be customer satisfaction tracking.
Every single courtroom and chambers of the court should be online
We should be able to see judges laughing and hear and swap their comments online
Every sermon and prayer meeting in every church should have surveillance
not only to stop pedophilia, but also to stop fraud, and to ensure that the sermon does not include hate speech or condone practices considered illegal
The evolution and sex education classes of ALL students should be recorded
how else would you know whether or not they were told anything
If we continue to allow the horrifying scourge of catholic education or other religious indoctrination of minors then when those children are taught evolution it should be in a classroom with surveillance!
Why isn't there a cheap surveillance camera with audio in every single operating theatre?
We know that thousands of people die from malpractice, why don't we keep records!
Psychiatry has for years been used as a tool of labeling and oppression by the far right and even has in many instances been used by dominant religious theologies to persecute dissenting opinions, or to suppress certain classes. Psychiatry has even been used many times for personal gain, to help someone steal the rightful property of the victim.
So why isn't every psychiatric assessment recorded?
With video and audio that can be brought into court
Every emergency room bed should have a camera and we should be assessing staff on a continuous basis.
I find this situation sickening,
If someone can write something about you
based on what they "say" that you said
and what they "say" you acted like
You should be able to call forth the evidence of that interview and have it review by another party.
Or its he said she said and the "professional" always wins.
